Conversion of a former childrens institue and addition of two new blocks created an impressive development located near the centre of Glasgow.

The existing listed building contains 42 apartments and the two additional blocks create a further 23 units. The existing building was fully renovated and complemented internally with modern materials to contrast with the existing stone and the new contemporary blocks were of a scale and incorporated stone to link with the existing building.

A concealed hidded courtyard links the three buildings and provides amenity space for the residents. Design work undertaken by a director while at another practice
